Julie's slice of farmy heaven sits amongst the volcanic hills of the Gold Coast Hinterland in the exclusive Guanaba Valley, known for its dairy farms and prestige horse studs. This very private property is pristine, quiet, remote, super lush and green and yet only 30 minutes drive from Surfers Paradise, in fact you would never believe how close you are to civilisation because the silence is deafening.... oh well except for the bird song, odd cow mooing and cool breeze rustling the gum leaves.

What is included in this special Valentine's Picnic at $220 for two lovers:

What to bring:

Sunglasses, hat, camera, flat shoes, a light jacket perhaps. Did I mention camera?? - you will want to take a lot of pics. And while we do have great phone reception; you might even want to turn off the phone part! You are welcome to bring any extra beverages of your choice, a picnic rug for snoozing and suitable walking shoes if you want to explore the property a little more.

Is this suitable for children?

If you really want to bring them along for your Valentines celebration, then absolutely no problems, so long as you and they are ok with being in a paddock with cow poo, sticks, stones, uneven ground and the usual farmyard hazards. As this is considered more of a luxury adult dining experience, we do not offer children's meals or prices however, little ones under 5 years are FREE as there will be plenty of food included to accomodate their smaller apetites anyway. Will there be people I don't know (strangers) at my picnic table or other picnickers nearby? ?

No way! This is to celebrate Valentines Day. We only take ONE picnic booking for two people per day on February 14, 15 and 16.

Do you cater for different dietary requirements?

Yes to some degree is the answer. Vegetarian and gluten free is definately possible but please request this by email at the time of booking. For other requests, again please ask via email, before you make your booking to see if we can accomodate you.
